Lying on the foothills of Cordón del Plata, Valle de Uco has become a must visit for lovers of good wine and export brands. Young wineries line Los Cerillos Road in the Districts of Tunuyán, Tupungato and San Carlos. Standing very close to one another, these venues open their gates to visitors and invite them to enjoy wine tourism. The aroma of their vineyards and their neat disposition are the introduction card of the famed wines grown in these lands.

But that is not all. The mountain range contributes something else than its beneficial crystal-clear water. It is also a perfect setting for fantastic horseback rides, amusing hiking tours and it is even possible to spend the night at exclusive inns and wine lodges. Some wineries organize outdoor tours in combination with travel agencies and they also offer the chance to gather in front of a fire pit and enjoy a typical asado criollo. The region is purely agricultural and produces all kinds of fruit and nuts bearing excellent quality. Valle de Uco lies an hour and a half away from the City of Mendoza and it boasts its natural beauty year round.
