Beaches in Federación

Thermal from every perspective, the City of Federación offers mineralized waters and the freshness and beauty of Lake Salto Grande, whose fine sandy beaches create the perfect scene for visitors from all over the country to choose this destination. They come along to discover the good qualities of this place and be delighted by its waters, especially when the summer comes and the temperature goes up.

These spacious beaches are reached in the city by several generations coming on motorbikes, cars or bikes to have fun with friends. And mate is always present, of course.

Following one another, the most outstanding beaches are Las Palmeras, Las Grutas, Playa Grande, Playa Baly and Playa Sur, which make up what is known as "Beach Zone" at the local Tourist Office. They all lie on the waterfront avenue.

In the summertime, the water is undoubtedly one of the greatest local attractions. Activities such as kite surfing, windsurfing and sailing are practiced from very early in the morning till late at night.

Others choose less adventurous options which focus on observation, such as angling in search of the boga (the great local protagonist) or preparing some mate under the shade of a summer parasol.
