The history of the Coche Rana (frog car), the popular nickname given to the old Citroën 3CV, dates back to the creation of this vehicle in the year 1934, whose aim was to let small French producers transport their goods along unfavorable roads.

Almost 80 years after that memorable conception, it is possible to go along the Wine Road on board a small fleet of these peculiar cars as a result of a new undertaking started by Ramiro Marquesini, a businessman from Mendoza.

The idea arose with the aim of creating a new tourist attraction within the wine-growing offer of Mendoza. Besides having advertised this project in the most important media throughout the country, the calls and mails from tourists who wish to live this experience have urged to increase the five-car fleet in the short term.
