Costa del Este, on the Atlantic

The presence of residences and apartment hotels facing the sea amid conifer woods offers a special degree of excellence to this urban zone.

Framed by the sea littoral, the route known as Iinterbalnearia, Mar del Tuyú and Aguas Verdes, Costa del Este is a summer village of elegant features. Ample houses prevail, as well as good accommodation venues and motley pine tree woods.
We went around the downtown. The streets are named after flowers and trees. Avenues lead straight to the seashore. We entered the district through Avenue 4 up to the waterfront, where we made contact with the beach.

We found them to be very spacious, ideal to stay there and behold the endless horizon. Meanwhile, we would sunbathe, have a bath, walk on the wet sand and remain there until sunset, drinking mate.

We noticed the urban zone concentrates comfortable houses with very neat gardens. Some of them are private residences, others are offered for rent. In the center, several commercial centers boast nice stores. The ones selling handicrafts were the most popular, as visitors always wish to take home a souvenir. The coffee houses and restaurants were perfect to chat with friends when the sun was setting.

The most visited sites include La Reserva Forestal (The Forest Reserve) and the artificial lake. The shady tree groves at both locations offer their freshness on hot summer days. There is a circuit inside the reserve with three access points for bicycles and hiking. These two ways of traveling the city have many fans. When it comes to sandy areas, the best way is to move on an ATV.

We came close to a work of art which deserved special attention: the Christ and Mary Magdalene. This piece is nestled on Avenue 4, at the access to town, and it was made with Carrara marble.

In the evening, we visited some entertainment venues and took advantage of the short distance that separates this location from the district of San Bernardo to find a wider offer of shows.

At Costa del Este, light changes from dawn to dusk. We found the night hours were glowing and captivating. And community work is responsible for its original splendor to persist.
