More Saline than the Sea
The first hot springs on the Atlantic Coast are located at San Clemente del Tuyú. These waters have 3 times more salts than seawaters and, even though some specialists in the subject have always asserted that there were thermal layers on the Atlantic coast, it was not until the first well was drilled that these assumptions could be confirmed. As a consequence, today visitors can combine the sea and the hot springs and enjoy a new attraction even in the winter season.
