Thermal pools

The main attraction of the complex are the thermal pools and the spa. They are covered and heated pools, with hydromassage sectors, benches and sun loungers to accommodate and rest, two terraces with lounge chairs and spa with cabinets for body treatments. The pool sector also has permanent lifeguards, nurses, blood pressure control, comfortable toilets, wardrobes, showers, dressing rooms, Wi-Fi and games for children.

The natural resource has an essential value for the Carhué community. Water quality is the perlite of this pool complex. It is known that hydrothermalism can treat many conditions, and the hypermineralized waters of the Epecuén lagoon are highly sought after to mitigate respiratory, skin, rheumatism and muscle disorders.

The resort of Epecuén had a very intense life as a tourist destination because of the properties of the miraculous waters that resulted in health benefits, until the 1985 flood that left it under the waters of the same lagoon that nourished it. Destiny was a favorite of the Buenos Aires aristocracy. Carhué had grown to the rhythm of the tourist village but was a bit far from the shore. This same feature saved her from the drastic flood.

The thermal park project wants to continue extending and other heated pool modules are planned in the future. The Epecuén lagoon is part of the West Chained Lagoons basin, which benefits from the inauguration of the most important hydraulic engineering work in the Buenos Aires region, the remodeling of the Piñeyro Partidor. The work is vital to contain the floods in the districts of Coronel Suárez, Guaminí and Adolfo Alsina, in addition it injects force to the tourist revival.

The inauguration of the complex has a dream behind it, which stopped the 1985 flood. After the tragedy, the thermal park that was born on the initiative of local businessmen tries to reposition Carhué in the tourist plane. The good waters of the Epecuén lagoon once again mark a turning point in the narrative of the Carhuense community.
