Salta Rafting is an adventure tourism operator based in Coronel Moldes, near the Cabra Corral reservoir, that has been offering rafting descents on the Río Juramento and other outdoor activities in the province of Salta since 1997. It is the pioneer rafting company in northwestern Argentina and operates as a licensed travel and tourism agency under registration EVT 11610.

The main activity is a rafting descent on the Río Juramento, a 12-kilometer route with approximately two hours of navigation through the river canyon, tackling 10 Class III rapids and 5 Class II rapids. The activity is suitable for the whole family, from age 5 with no weight limit, and requires no prior experienceswimming ability. Departures take place every day at 10:30 AM, with prior booking required.

In addition to rafting in Salta, the company offers other adventure tourism activities in the region:
• ATV safari to Potrero Grande
• ATV safari to Quebrada de Arteaga
• Mountain bike descent on Cuesta del Obispo
• Horseback riding to Las Lomas from San Lorenzo
• Trekking to Vallecitos (3 days / 2 nights)

Every rafting outing includes a pre-activity briefing by the guides, full equipment —helmet, paddle, life jacket, neoprene boots, and waterproof jacket and pants— and, during winter, a neoprene wetsuit. The activity includes safety kayak assistance throughout the route and a support vehicle on land. At the end of the descent at Paraje Los Lapachos, return transport to the base is included. Optionally, guests can arrange transfer from the city of Salta departing at 8:00 AM, and a traditional Argentine asado lunch—with vegetarian alternatives—is also available to round out the day in the natural surroundings.

Salta Rafting guides hold certifications from the International Rafting Federation, I.R.I.A. (Special Rescue Services and World Rescue Group), and the International Red Cross, with training in first aid and swift water rescue. The company has also received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence on a consistent basis. The base facilities include changing rooms with hot showers.
