Modern Art Museum in Puerto Madryn

At 444, Roca Avenue, in Puerto Madryn, we found the Modern Art Museum, a space of vital importance for the entire region. As the center of culture in town, not only does the museum offer a space where visitors may learn about regional artists, but it also opens up to the community through a series of activities suitable for all audiences.

During our visit to the city, we did not want to miss a tour around this venue. Though it is not very big, the wide range of techniques applied in the several works displayed –including paintings, sculptures, engravings and photographs- caught our attention. There is not just one vision of this museum. It is aimed at all kinds of visitors.

The museum is kept alive by the constantly new shows as well as by the interaction with the community. Therefore, guided tours are available for students, cultural gatherings and various courses related to art.
