Rutas Provincial 68 y Nacional 40, Cafayate, Salta
Bodega El Esteco is a winery located in Cafayate, in the heart of the Calchaquí Valleys, in the province of Salta, at 1,700 meters above sea level. The establishment combines wine production, wine tourism, gastronomy, and accommodation within a colonial estate that reflects the history and tradition of the region. Its vineyards grow under extreme climatic conditions of altitude and thermal amplitude, giving rise to wines with a distinctive profile, recognized for their character and high-altitude origin.
The surroundings of Cafayate are one of the most defining features of Bodega El Esteco. Surrounded by mountains, vineyards, and a landscape shaped by the northwest Argentine sun, the winery blends into the scenery of the Calchaquí Valleys with an offering that goes beyond wine production. The influence of ancient civilizations, the Hispanic past, and the creole spirit are present both in the architecture of the place and in the identity of its products.

Within the colonial estate of Bodega El Esteco, the Patios de Cafayate hotel operates in a historic building dating back to the early seventeenth century. The hotel has 32 rooms and suites with views of the vineyards, mountains, and estate gardens. The architecture combines colonial elements with handwoven textiles, rustic furniture, and native silverwork ornaments. It is an accommodation option for those looking to stay at the wine-producing heart of Cafayate and the Calchaquí Valleys.
The restaurant at Patios de Cafayate completes the gastronomic offering with a menu based on typical dishes from northern Argentina, made with regional products and paired with Bodega El Esteco wines. The restaurant accepts table reservations and operates within the same estate where the wines are produced, reinforcing the connection between gastronomy and winemaking that defines this corner of Salta.
