Villa Huapi Patagonia Resort is an apart hotel complex located in Dina Huapi, 15 kilometres from the centre of San Carlos de Bariloche, on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. It is a hybrid residential and tourist development — the only one of its kind with direct lakefront access in the area — combining apartments in Andean regional design with resort services and views over the Patagonian lake.
Accommodation at Villa Huapi Patagonia Resort is organised in apartments for different group sizes, all equipped with WiFi, an integrated kitchen and radiant floor heating:
• Double Lake View Apartment: up to 2 adults, 28 m², with a double bed, breakfast table, kitchenware for two and a private bathroom.
• Triple Apartment: up to 3 adults, 30 m², with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area, a breakfast bar kitchen and a private bathroom.
• Quadruple Lake View Apartment: up to 4 adults, 45 m², two-room unit with a private bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed in the living area, located in the lakeside buildings.
• Quadruple Apartment: up to 4 adults, 45 m², two-room unit with a private bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed in the living area.
• Quintuple Apartment: up to 5 adults, 45 m², with a private bedroom for two and three single beds in the living room, located in the garden building.
• Sextuple Apartment: up to 6 adults and 1 baby, 90 m², with a private terrace, two bedrooms with double beds and en suite bathrooms, designed for families.
The complex offers a restaurant, swimming pool, free outdoor parking, luggage storage, beach access and tourist information services. A cleaning service is available at an additional cost. Check-in is handled through a self check-in system with a security code and keybox, with 24-hour entry and exit monitoring. All apartments comply with the safety and hygiene protocols certified by Travels Safe.
The apart hotel's location in Dina Huapi — a town whose name combines a reference to its Danish founders with the Mapuche word huapi, meaning "island" — provides immediate access to National Route 40 towards the Lakes Route, El Bolsón and Villa La Angostura, and to National Route 23 towards the Atlantic Coast. Bariloche International Airport is 7 minutes away, and Cerro Catedral is 40 minutes away. Around the accommodation, guests can enjoy kayaking and rafting on the Limay River, hiking, and visits to the centre of Bariloche, the Otto Cable Car and Cerro Campanario.
