This charming inn was born in 1928 as the first lodging in the area -then called "Los Andes"- and was built with traditional adobe and tapiales techniques, reflecting the authentic Cuyo country architecture. Today, restored and converted into an ecological and cultural refuge, it continues to offer hospitality with a strong commitment to history, nature and regional identity.

Surrounded by a majestic natural environment -with the Cordón del Ansilta and the imposing silhouette of Cerro Mercedario as a back- El Mercedario Eco Posada proposes an experience of connection with nature and Andean culture. The inn has themed rooms such as "Artistas", "Chamitos", "Wentru", "Warmikuna " and "Amawta Wasi", each with its own identity, history and particular design.
