Hostería El Galpón del Glaciar is a countryside accommodation located 22 kilometres from El Calafate, on the shores of Lago Argentino and along the road to Perito Moreno Glacier. The property stands on the original grounds of Estancia Alice, a sheep-farming estate dating back to 1912, and operates during the spring-summer season, from October to April. The hostería features 16 rooms with views of the lakethe Andes mountain range, a standalone cabin-suite, a restaurant, a bar, and a private natural reserve within the estate.
