Estancia Cristina is a lodge-style accommodation located within Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, in the province of Santa Cruz, and stands as one of the most distinctive lodging options in Argentine Patagonia. The centrepiece of the property is the Octógono, the main lodge where the restaurant, breakfast area, bar and common spaces are found, with 360° panoramic views of Cerro Norte. Dining operates on a full-board basis: all meals and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the stay. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menus are available, and specific dietary requirements can be communicated at the time of booking. A wine menu featuring a curated ion from Argentine wineries is also available at an additional cost.

Activities available to guests include guided expeditions to Glaciar Upsala, the only land-based lookout point over that glacier accessible from this accommodation in El Calafate. Trekking routes cover circuits at varying levels of difficulty, including access to the Campo de Hielo Patagónico Sur, the ascent of Cerro Carnero and the Cristina Lookout with views over Lago Tanhauser. Horseback riding, fishing excursions on Lago Guillermo and Laguna de la Pesca, and self-guided trails within the property are also on offer. During expeditions, guests may visit historic mountain shelters including Refugio Upsala and Refugio Pascale. The guide team operates in both Spanish and English.

The historical heritage of the estancia is reflected in its on-site museum and original features that remain part of the grounds, such as the Noria, a waterwheel built in 1945 to supply fresh water to the main house. The recommended minimum stay is two nights, though the property suggests three nights to make the most of the available expedition options.
