Museo Evita is a cultural space located in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, dedicated to preserving and sharing the life, work, and legacy of María Eva Duarte de Perón. It opened on July 26, 2002, marking the 50th anniversary of Evita's passing, and has since welcomed Argentine and international visitors eager to learn about one of the most influential figures in twentieth-century Argentine history.

The museum is housed in the Casa Carabassa, an elegant residence built in 1923 by architect Estanislao Pirovano, located at Lafinur 2988. The building was acquired in 1948 by the María Eva Duarte de Perón Social Aid Foundation and converted into Transit Home No. 2, a shelter designed to support women in vulnerable situations. Declared a national historic site, a site of cultural interest of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and a national historic monument, the building is itself part of the heritage the museum preserves.

The collections at Museo Evita Buenos Aires were assembled from donations by the Duarte – Álvarez Rodríguez family and private contributors, bringing together objects, documents, photographs, and garments that allow visitors to reconstruct Eva Perón's life and era with historical accuracy. The exhibition is aimed at students, teachers, researchers, and the general public with an interest in Argentine political and social history.

The museum offers a wide range of visit formats to suit different audiences and needs:

Museo que transmite el espíritu de Evita y rinde un homenaje a la grandeza de su figura. Recomendación: sin mediación de guía, no se entiende. Hay visitas gratis (la nuestra, a las 16)
