Hotel El Candil is a 14-room boutique hotel located in the center of Tilcara, in the province of Jujuy, in the heart of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Just one and a half blocks from the main square, it offers accommodation with mountain views, traditional criollo furniture, homemade breakfast, café and restaurant service, Starlink WiFi, parking, and personalized 24-hour attention.

The hotel offers two room types, all featuring mountain views, radiant floor heating with individual thermostat, smart TV, en-suite bathroom with shower and bidet, hairdryer, and toiletries:

• Suite: bedroom with queen bedtwo twin beds, sitting area with sofa bed and extra trundle bed (for children up to 12 years old), air conditioning, blackout curtains, desk, and safe.
• Standard: double room with queentwin bed, ceiling fan, blackout curtains, desk, and safe. Some units include a sofa bed with an extra trundle bed for children.

All beds feature La Cardeuse spring mattresses, and rooms are fitted with double linen and blackout curtains for privacy and restful sleep. The homemade breakfast includes coffee, fresh juices, butter croissants, whole grain bread, seeded bread, criollo rolls, artisan jams, yogurt, granola, cream cheese, fruit salad, ham, and cheese.

Hotel El Candil features a central courtyard and garden with mountain views, afternoon and evening snack and dinner service, and a craft shop offering handmade products by local artisans from the region. The team provides personalized tourist information to explore nearby highlights such as the Pucará de Tilcara, the High Altitude Botanical Garden, the Garganta del Diablo, and the colorful hills of Humahuaca.

Additional paid services include airport transfers to and from Jujuy and Salta airports, and an exclusive 10% discount on car rental with Chulo Rent a Car for hotel guests. Payment is accepted by credit and debit card, with current promotions available on request. Check-in is from 2:00 PM with guaranteed late check-in, and check-out is until 11:00 AM.
