Posada Inti Watana, known as “The Lodge of the Still Sun,” is a charming eco-design hotel located in a privileged area of Tafí del Valle, just 2 km from the town center. Surrounded by a 3,500 m² wooded park and featuring a 275 m² construction, this welcoming country house blends charm, warmth, and the hospitality of both the destination and its hosts.

The concept, inspired by the French idea of Maison d’hôtes, merges the guest house with the hosts’ own home. Built with materials typical of the region, such as mountain ranch-style elements, the property stands as an example of traditional, eco-friendly architecture.

Posada Inti Watana offers 4 exclusive rooms, each with a private bathroom, unique design, and its own theme:
• Standard Solstice Room (double bed)
• Comfort Equinox Room (double bed + 1 single bed)
• Geode Suite (extra-large bed + 1 single bed3 single beds, independent entrance and private veranda)
• Superior Ecliptic Room (extra-large bed + 1 single bed3 single beds, independent entrance and private veranda)

Rooms do not have TVs (available in the common lounge)kitchens. For safety reasons, the presence of babieschildren must be notified in advance, as not all rooms are suitable for them.

Your stay includes a country-style breakfast with unlimited hot drinks and natural, organic products from the property’s garden in the high Calchaquí Mountains: homemade fruit jams, natural apple juice (seasonal), organic native walnuts, and homemade walnut bread.

Among its facilities and services are: private semi-covered parking with hail-protection netting, fiber optic wifi throughout the property, a lounge with a winter garden, sitting rooms, Jesuit-style veranda with tables and loungers, armchairs, and an electric kettle with complimentary teas in common areas.

Outdoors, guests can enjoy a large park with plants, flowers, diverse trees, an organic vegetable garden, compost area, a small Malbec and Chardonnay vineyard, permaculture crops, raspberry bushes, and the river just 200 meters away.

There is no restaurantkitchen for guest use, but the lodge is only 5 minutes by car from the center, where you will find a wide variety of dining options. Hosts Juan and Fabienne, with 17 years of experience in the area, provide personalized tourist advice.

Pet Friendly: well-behaved pets are welcome in rooms with independent entrances leading to the garden, always under the owner’s care and responsibility.
