With more than four decades of experience in the activity, the company offers embarked outings to observe the Southern Right Whale in its natural habitat, in one of the areas of the world with the highest concentration of whales between June and December.
The whale watching excursions in Puerto Pirámides depart from the local pier and are led by captains and specialized crew, with bilingual onboard staff who introduce passengers to the coastal and marine ecosystem. During the trip, visitors can learn about the whales' biological cycle, including mating, births and calf rearing, in an experience suitable for passengers of all ages.
The company offers different services depending on the time of day and the type of experience sought:
• Traditional whale watching, with departures throughout the season
• Last outing of the day, ideal for photographers due to the sunset light over the cliffs

The fleet of Bottazzi Whale Watching consists of three vessels with unobstructed 360-degree views, equipped with eco-friendly engines and suitable instruments for the activity, all authorized by the Argentine Naval Prefecture and the Chubut Tourism Secretariat. The company also works together with excursions departing from Puerto Madryn to other attractions in Península Valdés, such as the Punta Loma Sea Lion Colony, Punta Tombo and the Lower Chubut River Valley, expanding the options available to those visiting the region.
