The day rides follow trails inside Lago Puelo National Park and are available in different durations, from one hour to a full day. They are suitable for all ages and levels and are led by guides certified by the Administration of Argentine National Parks, ensuring a safe and responsible experience within the protected area.
The horse-riding holiday programmes run from 3 to 7 days and include between 4 and 6 hours of riding per day along mountain trails within the National Park, with the option of camping overnight in the mountainsstaying at the property's own apartments. All meals are included, prepared using home-grownlocally sourced produce, cooked in a traditional earth ovenon the grill. Programmes are custom-designed: they are adapted to each guest's preferred dates, duration and riding ability, with no minimum group sizesfixed departure dates. No more than six guests are hosted at a time, ensuring a personal level of attention. Complementary activities such as fly-fishing, hiking and mountain biking can be incorporated into the programme, always accompanied by local guides. The team is bilingual in Spanish and English.
El Portal del Lago accommodation consists of two ground-floor studio apartments sleeping 2 to 4 people. Each unit is equipped with a full kitchen, private bathroom, satellite television, Wi-Fi, gas central heating and covered parking. The complex is set within a garden with a barbecue area, a children's play area and views of the surrounding mountains. Its location, a short walk from the lake and the Azul River, makes it a practical base for those seeking accommodation in Lago Puelo with easy access to outdoor activities including trekking, kayaking, boat trips and fishing.
