Located in the center of the Calamuchita Valley, on the slopes of the Sierras Chicas, Huerta Grande is a town where peace and tranquility come together so that visitors can relax and enjoy the contact with mother earth.
This ancient dwelling of the Comechingones tribe is located at 978 m.a.s.l. bordering the city of La Falda to the south, Villa Giardino to the north, the Sierras Chicas mountain range to the east and the Altas Cumbres to the west.
In order to get to this natural area, you can choose to arrive at Córdoba Capital Airport, go through Villa Carlos Paz and take National Road Nº 38 up to Km. 783 where you will find the access to it.
Being located in a terrain that presents soft undulations up to the ravine of the mountains, it is a favorable place for the practice of adventure tourism sports such as trekking, horseback riding, climbing, rappel and excursions in off-road vehicles.
In the surroundings of Huerta Grande the visitor will find springs that spring from the mountains and flow into the San Francisco River, where you can refresh yourself and spend unforgettable moments or practice sport fishing.
When walking through the streets, the square or the Ntra. Sra. del Carmen Church, the tourist finds a building structure that dates back more than 100 years.
Among the places that should not be missed in the surroundings of the beautiful town are the Botanical Garden "Dr. Miguel Culaciati", the Camino del Dragón, the Olmos Waterfall, the Municipal Spa La Escondida and the Natural, Forestal and Archaeological Reserve "Naguan Tica".
