The City of Federal is located in the central north of the province of Entre Ríos. Year after year it has hosted the Chamamé National Festival, one of the most important and traditional events in the so-called Argentinian Littoral.
This celebration includes three nights of passionate music and the participation of well-known local and foreign artists who summon attendants during February, when the city accommodation offers get packed with tourists. Besides hotels and cabins, the large local campsite invites visitors to relish the open air, go for a walk or be delighted by a well-deserved rest at the huge swimming pool.
Like all the districts in the area, Federal boasts its main square lined up by public buildings such as the Municipal Palace, Saint Rose of Lima’s Parish and the old Railway Station.
There are alternatives for every taste. They all guarantee their own kind of charm both during the daytime and at night and succeed in tempting all generations to go out and enjoy all tour, shopping and cultural proposals organized by the local institutions every month.
