The property integrates genuine environmental management practices: units are designed to reduce energy consumption through building materials and geographical orientation, a biodigester handles waste treatment to protect the surrounding water table, and guests are encouraged to sort waste into cardboard, aluminum, glass, and plastic. Organic waste feeds a California worm compost system connected to the on-site productive garden.

Shared facilities include green parks, a playground, volleyball and football areas, fire pits, barbecue stations, a vegetable garden, a plant nursery, and bicycles available for guests. The entire grounds are designed with a level of detail that complements the natural surroundings.
