Cabañas Kümelen Resort is a fully thermal accommodation complex located in Termas de Río Hondo, Santiago del Estero, just 4.5 kilometers from the city center. It features 8 fully equipped cabins spread across two layouts: 6 units for up to 4 guests and 2 units for up to 6 guests, with a total capacity of 36 guests. What sets this resort apart is that thermal water runs throughout the entire property, both in each cabin's private bathroom and in the outdoor swimming pool.
The cabins in Termas de Río Hondo are available in two configurations:
• 4-person cabin: bedroom with king-size bed and single bed, bathroom with toilet, open-plan living and dining area with a single bed, covered gallery with private parking, barbecue grill, Smart TV, and breakfast service included.
• 6-person cabin: two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and single bed, one with a king-size bed), bathroom with toilet, open-plan living and dining area with a single bed, covered gallery with private parking, barbecue grill, Smart TV, and breakfast service included.
Both configurations include complete kitchenware, bed and bath linen (sheets, blankets, and towels for the cabin and pool), refrigerator, stove, gas heater, air conditioning, hair dryer, amenity kit, and satellite Wi-Fi.
Kümelen Resort's grounds also offer a large enclosed and monitored green space, a barbecue shelter, an outdoor gym, a children's playground, a pool bar, a convenience store, and a massage room. Check-in is available from 1:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM. Taxi services and food delivery reach the complex directly.
Termas de Río Hondo is one of Argentina's most well-known thermal destinations, drawing visitors from across the country seeking the therapeutic properties of its natural waters. The city center, just a 7-minute drive away, offers a wide range of restaurants and shops. Key attractions in the area include the Lago de Río Hondo, popular for water sports and sport fishing, the Autódromo Santiago Chico, a venue for national motor racing events, and the Parque Aguará, a natural reserve featuring native flora and fauna. Visitors can also take a short trip to Santiago del Estero city, less than 70 kilometers away, to explore its historic downtown and the Catedral Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
