Lake navigation on Lake Lácar began in the 1970s with the vessel Stella Maris, operated by Navegación Lago Lacar SAICI. Later, Navegación Lago Nonthue SRL joined the activity with the boat Mari Mari. In 1997, both companies merged to form the current Naviera Lacar & Nonthue, adding the vessel Patagonia I to the fleet. Today, these three boats continue navigating the region’s beautiful Andean lakes.
