Río Mel Lodge is a mountain lodge located in Lago Meliquina, about 30 km from San Martín de los Andes, offering accommodation in a privileged natural setting in Patagonia. Set on the banks of the Meliquina River, this property combines lodge rooms and independent cabins, designed to provide comfort, outdoor experiences and direct contact with nature within Lanín National Park.

The main lodge building features welcoming shared areas such as a daily dining room and breakfast area, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and Wi-Fi access. It offers 4 smoke-free doubletriple rooms with views of the Meliquina River, equipped with super king-size beds, private bathrooms and safety deposit boxes. Rooms are available only for guests over 15 years old.

Within the property, Río Mel Lodge also offers several cabin accommodation options, all separated from the main building and overlooking the river:

• One-bedroom cabins
• Two-bedroom cabins

All cabins are equipped with super king-size beds, private bathrooms, a kitchen, refrigerator and safety deposit box, making them ideal for families, couplessmall groups seeking independent accommodation in Lago Meliquina.

Among the highlighted services, the lodge offers a homemade cuisine proposal featuring Patagonian dishes prepared with regional products such as trout, venison, wild boar and wild mushrooms, as well as jams, cakes and pastries. Outdoors, the approximately 14,500 m² property includes riverfront access, barbecue areas, a quincho, soccer and volleyball courts, a ping pong table and sun loungers.

Thanks to its location, Río Mel Lodge provides easy access to numerous attractions and outdoor activities. Within a 40-minute drive there are 7 rivers and 9 lakes, ideal for fly fishing, lake excursions and wildlife observation. The lodge is strategically located for fly fishing enthusiasts, offering opportunities for boat fishing, floating riverswading, with species such as brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, perch and landlocked salmon.

Guests can also enjoy trekking, mountain biking and horseback riding to nearby sites such as Paso Córdoba, Cerro Falkner, Cerro Ventana and the Chapelco Mountain Range. Canoeing, kayaking and rafting on nearby rivers are additional options for those seeking outdoor adventures.

Río Mel Lodge is located at the end of Calle 6, along Provincial Route 63, about 500 meters from the bridge at the source of the Meliquina River, at the entrance to the village. It is approximately 42 km from San Martín de los Andes and 95 km from Villa La Angostura, making it an excellent base to explore the region.
