Posada Huella Iberá is a lodging option in Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, on the edge of the Iberá Wetlands in the province of Corrientes. The inn is located one block from Iberá Lagoon and four blocks from the boat dock, making it a practical base for exploring the wetland reserve. Built in the traditional Corrientes style, it features wide verandas, gardens, and communal areas designed to connect guests with the surrounding natural environment. The project behind it combines sustainable tourism, wildlife conservation, and environmental education, with its own private nature reserve and activities that immerse visitors in the local ecosystem.

The inn has 9 rooms accommodating between 3 and 6 guests each, including one room adapted for guests with disabilities. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, quality mattresses, ceiling fan, and electric heating.

The complex includes a swimming pool with sun deck and a barbecue area with hammocks. The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, satellite television, a library for guests, and recreational options including board games, pool table, foosball, and ping pong. The restaurant serves home-style cooking with handmade pasta, artisan baked goods, house-made preserves and jams from seasonal fruits, barbecued meats, and produce from local organic gardens. The menu includes special options for celiacs and vegetarians.

Activities organized from the inn include guided horseback rides through the esteros and palm groves, boat excursions on Iberá Lagoon, guided kayak outings, 4x4 field excursions, and night safaris for wildlife spotting. The inn also runs the Ecotaller Timbó, an environmental education program in English for children from the local community.

Guests travelling by public transport can reach the inn from the city of Mercedes (Corrientes), which has long-distance bus connections from Buenos Aires and Rosario. From Mercedes it is approximately 115 km along provincial route 40 to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, including a gravel stretch that remains passable even in wet conditions. Guests driving from Buenos Aires take highway (RN) 14 to Cuatro Bocas and then RP 119 to Mercedes. The inn provides detailed route information and road condition updates upon request.
