Rancho Por Fin is a rural accommodation in Barreal, in the Calingasta department of San Juan province, offering cabins and apartments within a historic adobe property featuring gardens, a swimming pool, and ample space for familiesgroups looking to rest in the foothills of the San Juan Andes.

The property occupies a heritage building that over the years served as a school, general store, family home, and grain depot. Its thick adobe walls and cane-and-mud ceilings preserve the rustic character that sets it apart from conventional accommodation in the area. The owner is personally present on site, giving guests a warm and attentive experience.

Rancho Por Fin has four independent units with a combined capacity of 30 guests:

• Adobe apartments (2 units, rustic 1980s style)
• Rural cabins (2 units, more recent construction)

All units include a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen, dining area, living room with satellite TV, air conditioning, and heating. Laundry service is available for guests.

The outdoor spaces are central to the experience: gardens with native and fruit trees, hammocks, an outdoor barbecue area with tables and chairs, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a camping area, a solarium, and covered and open-air parking. Pets are welcome at no extra charge.

The Barreal location provides easy access to the main attractions of the Calingasta department: the dried lakebed of Barreal Blanco, hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area, and the astronomical observatories of Parque Nacional El Leoncito. The night sky in this part of San Juan is among the clearest in the region, making it an excellent spot for stargazing.
