When we arrived in Mar del Plata along the northern access, which ends up in the seafront, we were welcomed by the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, which gives the modern city a dazzling image.

Traditional families, artists, lovers of 4 x 4 vehicles, fishermen, water sports people and even nudists have their place on the warm sands that make up Mar del Plata's coast.

The offer is multiple and varied: modern seaside resorts offer comfortable changing rooms, gastronomic shops, clean and safe beaches, thanks to the lifeguard service. In order to enjoy the beach, the option of renting tents and umbrellas for a day, a month or the complete season is becoming more and more frequent.

Starting from the North, the Camet beaches, framed with breakwaters to moderate the waves, start to comply with what the area promises.

To the South, from La Perla beach, the panoramic view of the center of the city is spread. With coasts of classical patterns, its resorts were designed by architect Clorindo Testa. Finally, on the very South, there are dunes, pine and acacia forests. Resorts are optimum in this area and they offer the highest and most distinguished level of services.

Many people, like us, resolve to enjoy Mar del Plata coast according to lodging location. As we were invited by the Hotel de la Asociación Bancaria de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, we settled in the area between the Alfonsina and Saint Michel resorts.

A bright sun, the template sea water and the fast food of nearby restaurants made us share pleasant moments by the sea.

Beach volleyball, swimming, beach tennis and the popular tejo took control at the moment of ejoying the benefits of Mar del Plata.

In the evening, after having dinner at Tío Cursio, we also enjoyed the seafront. The moonlight reflected on the endless ocean, and the starry sky were predicting that we would be embarking on the Anamora and make an excursion on a small cruise the following morning, getting a different perspective of “La Feliz”, or the happy city, as Mar del Plata is popularly known.
