Open everyday from 8 to 2am, this friendly restaurant offers all the delicacies of local gastronomy: empanadas stuffed with goat cheese, charqui, casserole and grilled goat meat, llama tenderloin, Andean salads with quinua and papitas puneñas, to name some dishes. Delicious desserts made with homemade jams and syrups of cayote, fig, gourd and sweet-potatoes with nuts and/or miel de caña complete the menu along with the most selected wines and cocktails in the country. At any time, you may taste the herbal teas: rica rica, incayuyo,copa copa, poleo and other local herbs. Likewise, you will be delighted by the cakes, empanadillas and alfajores typical from Purmamarca. And being an authentic peña, El Rincón entertains visitors with the best traditional folkloric show starred by its owner, Claudia Vilte, along with other local artists such as Mario Salim, Los Quebraderos de Maimará, Renacer, and all the pingullos, erkes, anatas, antaras, sikuris and cajas, who will take you down the beautiful Puna landscape framed by its passionate Andean culture. Un lindo lugar, fuimos a mediados de Agosto y no había casi gente, tienen dos personas que cantan (como toda peña) y se cobra el derecho a espectáculo. La comida a buen precio, calidad moderada.
