San Miguel de Tucumán is the capital city and heart of Tucumán Province. Popularly known as "El Jardín de la República" ( The Garden of the Republic) because in Springtime there are flowers everywhere - in the parks, balconies, streets and gardens- , the city is situated in the northeast of Argentina at 447 m above sea level.

Regarding topography , there are almost all existing landscapes ranging from high mountains to plains and including woods, forests, scrubs, fertile plains and even desert areas. Due to this fact, there are eleven micro-climates around the city.
The average temperature in Summer rates 26º C and in Winter rates 15º C.
You can arrive to this place with city life and beautiful landscapes by plane getting to "Teniente Benjamín Matienzo" International Airport which is a few kilometres away from the city.
