La Cumbre is beautiful from all points of view. It has a varied offer of activities, mingled with culture, nature and the action of man, of course.
Handicrafts and the craftsmen themselves gave a unique coziness to this city and many workshops were settled in the outskirts of town. |
This caused visitors to go towards those workshops. Therefore, a new tourist attraction appeared spontaneously in the outskirts of La Cumbre: handicraft tourism.
This old road which joined both districts came to life by becoming busier and busier. Thus, many craftsmen settled down on Villa Giardino’s side. |
The path, even on a rainy day, let us see the most delightful nooks of the mountain range in Córdoba. And it is on cloudy days, during the summer, when this area summons most visitors, as if they all had arranged to meet there.
The typical wildlife is entwined with the stores and houses where handicrafts are the great protagonists. And every host tells tourists how they create each piece. They do not respect any mass production pattern or industrial mold. |
Countryside items, others made with roots, wood and typical elements provided by the prodigious local nature are displayed to both sides of the road and succeed in making motorists stop to see what is inside each store.
An ideal tour for the entire family that will get them near the pretty village called Villa Giardino and its broad street, which leads to National Route 38, whose pavement will soon deposit them back at La Cumbre. |

The Craftsmen’s Road is ideal to enjoy with the family. Visitors should be careful to park correctly and not to speed, as many times children get off the cars in a rush without considering the danger. Having made this clear, the rest is but pure pleasure.
