Located in the District of Coronel Moldes, Cabra Corral reservoir is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Province of Salta. General Manuel Belgrano Dam is in charge of cumulating waters from the mountain range and it is one of the chosen destinations by silverside enthusiasts. Featuring crystal-clear deep waters, it is surrounded by hills and it gives origin to Juramento River, one of the most beautiful waterways in northwestern Argentina, where trout and dorado are fished alongside its course.

A weekend village also named Cabra Corral has developed on one of the shores of this 13-thousand-hectare reservoir. This is a perfect site to stay at comfortable cabins and inns that offer a view of the lake as well as adventure travel activities ranging from hiking, through climbing and fishing outings to visits to historical sites where the traces of the native dwellers of these lands still remain.

One of the great attractions of Cabra Corral is its large high bridges whose height generates a void over the water body. This space is used for various activities, such as el bungee jumping. This has seduced young people from all over the country, who choose it as a holiday destination.

Cabra Corral is the ideal place to enjoy with the family, alone or with friends. A must visit in the Province of Salta.
