Horseback Excursions
Those who wish to experiment a different moment may choose a horseback ride along the varied topography of the Republic of Argentina and go over mountains, amidst forests, along beaches or across streams with the whole family and enjoy beautiful moments.
It is ideal to go on a horseback excursion guided by the local experts and on docile Creole horses, totally used to transporting people along the different circuits.
If you are going on a short horseback excursion, it is not necessary to know how to ride. A quick theoretical chat with the guide will be enough for you to get used to the reins and the animal's mouth. Excursions of one or more days are advisable for experienced riders to avoid being exhausted at the end of the day.
When hiring this kind of tours, it is a good idea to verify the quality of the riding harnesses. It is better to use saddles and long stirrups to climb slopes, whereas if you are going to ride along the plain, simple saddle and trappings very well-adjusted to the cinchón (kind of girth) will be enough to enjoy the expedition without any difficulty.
Horse-riding excursions do not present considerable degrees of difficulty, or restrictions of gender, age or physical fitness. You just have to feel like beholding the Argentinian landscape in a different fashion.
