The different levels are solved in the shape of terraces which frame the monument and the volcanic rock at its foot that symbolizes the power arising from the centre of the earth.

Every April 2, Argentines commemorate Veteran's Day of War, in each town and in every city acts are performed, and in Río Gallegos is special, for having lived the conflict. That day is a day of reflection to recognize those who participated in the War, to commemorate the recovery of that piece of Homeland.
