Flavors from the Harbor
Distinction and good taste at the time for lunch at the city harbor. We tasted the Argentine Sea seafood and learnt why they are considered a “trademark”.
Flying over the Sea
We had a first-time flight over the South Atlantic coast. We flew over the penguin colony of Punta Tombo and we reached Punta Ninfa, in the Nuevo Gulf.
A Very Special Dolphin
Skunk dolphins, a singular species that dwells in the Patagonian waters, are watched at Playa Unión.
A Quiet Southern Beach
In the Chubut River Valley, Unión Beach offers a mild lanscape open to the sea.
Memories from the Beginning
The Salesian Regional Museum rescues the history of Rawson ever since the Indian occupation and the arrival of the Welsh, to this date.
The Fishermen’s Nook
With its fishing boats and its small canteens, the port is a traditional postcard of Rawson.
The Richness of the Cove
This particular geographical feature encloses the largest variety of sea fauna in the Península de Valdés Natural Reserve.
Dressed up on the beach
We visited the Punta Tombo Provincial Reserve. Thousands of tourists gather here to see the penguins, which with their particular plumage seem to be wearing a tuxedo.
Valle Los Altares
From Rawson you can drive along the south part of the northern patagonian plateau in an east- west direction and get to Valle Los Altares...
The Colors of the Desert
The willows and the reddish walls that surround the Florentino Ameghino Dam break up the arid scenery of the Patagonian steppe.
