Only 4 kilometers from Pico Truncado, where the wind is the undoubted protagonist carving the topography, is the first City of Sound in Patagonia. |
|
| |
This sound-producing sculpture park in Pico Truncado was built on November 10th 2002 with the works of art of six artists from Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina in order to foster tourism in the region. Visitors can observe and listen to the sounds produced by these unusual sculptures. |

The wind, eternal, vital and always present, shakes the marble and metal sculptures between 3 and 4 meters tall which were strategically placed so that the wind whistles while passing through them.
The sculpture called "The Wings of Wind" emits the strongest sound when its recycled street light tulip-shaped lampshades pound on each other, and "The Sounds of Mystery" emits some acute tones. |

S ome meters from there are "Ocarina", "Echoes of Silence", "Eclipse", and the cylinders incrusted in the enormous eye of "Tears Today" accompanying the group as a homogeneous sound track.
We recommend you visit the City of Sound in Pico Truncado, where natural energy and art meet together in a delicious symphony. |
