A few minutes from Downtown Córdoba, you will find Sarmiento Park located at the highest area of the city, where you will enjoy a beautiful piece of land with forests that invite you to enjoy outdoor activities shared with friends.

To get to this area of Córdoba, you must go along Poeta Lugones Avenue and take one of the many accesses on it or the main entrance located opposite Plaza España.

The park was designed by the famous landscape architect from France called Thays. The design is from the end of the XIX century and the work was finished in 1911.

Considered as the green lung of Córdoba Capital city, the Park offers many alternatives to amuse yourself, such as walks, fairground, zoological garden, skating rink, artifitial lake with boats, playground and even a Greek amphitheatre which is used for concerts. |

You can also enjoy a pic-nic at the Park Conifer Place from where you will contemplate one of the most attractive views of the city.

Another beautiful place inside the park is The Rose Garden, a place that is delicately arranged where you can rest in the benches as you contemplate the fountains of water or the statues from the beginning of the XX century.

You can also go for a walk along the new river drive from where you will observe the outstanding " Isla de los patos" ( Ducks Island).
Sarmiento Park is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. to practise sports and offers security service 24 hours a day. The entrance is free. Enjoy it !
