This small museum is situated in Bv. Nahuel Huapi 2177 next to Bahía Mansa and only a few meters from the chapel in a building that belonged to the first power plant in the village buit by Parques Nacionales and then occupied by Prefectura Naval.
In it you will find some aboriginal elements that speak about the habits and culture of our ancestors in this place. |

A sawmill machine and a cutlass used to make cypress tiles are a testimony of the wood work carried out for years in this community.
A canoe sculped in a single tree log used to travel on the lake was first seen by Mr. Rodriguez and then rescued by Mr. Antonio Margaride, a diver from Bariloche, in the channel between Isla Menendez and the beach. |

There are some historical records of the second part of the Campaign to the Desert by General C. Villegas and his deals with Chief Inacayal from the Mapuche nation, which extended from Neuquen to Santa Cruz, as well as documents of the beginning of the activities of Parques Nacionales in the region and the creation of the first Neighbours Commitee of Villa La Angostura in 1945.
The material in the museum was donated by the families Capraro, Diem, Colletti, Monsalve, Avila, Martinez, Martín , Matías , Muhlenpfordt and others.
