Brief Family History:
In the year 1900, Simón Roucouz, father of Don Moises, arrived to the City of Neuquén from Lebanon. He started a business, married and decided to move to the south of the province. He stopped at a place called San Ignacio and stayed there from 1911 to 1914. Here 4 of his children were born: Mario, Raquel, Angela and Jose. Then he moved on to a place called Quilquihue and in 1918 he settled for good in Junín de los Andes. His General Store "La Flor del Día" operated in the place where the hospital is today. Here he sold whatever was needed and bought whatever was produced. |
