Petrified anthropological and archaeological pieces and all kinds of objects belonging to old settlers of the place are waiting for you there.

The museum was born in 1972, with the aim of giving prestige to the patrimony of the city and its surroundings.

The exhibitions of greatest interest inside the museum are referred to the remains of an old Spanish settlement called "Nueva Colonia Floridablanca", "Sala del Pionero", with memories of the first years of the town and its pioneers, and "Sala Luisa Gimata", with objects made by aborigines.

There is also an important collection of paintings and sculptures of renowned artists granted by initiative of Mrs. Adela Tarraf.
