Fine Arts Provincial Museum

Inaugurated on May 3, 1972, at 634, San Juan Street, housed by a building raised in the late nineteenth century, the Dr. Juan Ramón Vidal Fine Arts Provincial Museum is the synthesis...

Inside, it features two rooms for permanent exhibitions and another one for temporary shows where visitors will find works signed by well-known artists such as Foujita, Petorutti, Fernando Fader, Benito Quinquela Martín, Pío Collivadino and Vicente Forte, to name a few.

Its art gallery shelters around 350 pieces obtained through legacies, donations, acquisitions, awards and as some works in custody, owned by regional collectors

It is important to point out that the set of assets that make up the library once owned by Dr. Vidal –former governor of the province and national senator- is used by the city high-school students for reference.
