Horse Riding in Trevelin

An excellent alternative near Trevelin is to go horseback riding for a day through the trails of the Welsh pioneers who discovered and colonized this area.

In Trevelin there are more than twenty circuits in the valley where natural beauty, snowed mountains, big cultivated plains and a typical breeze indicate the clear presence of Patagonian soil.
You will be riding on a tame horse through the last sector travelled by Colonel Luis Jorge Fontana next to the expert John Daniel Evans and other expeditioners of the cruzade known as "The Chubut Riflers"

You will see some beautiful cascades and all the colors of the landscape, where the subantarctic forest appears in the plateau with a diversity of native flora and fauna.
Along the circuit you will find a straight trail where the light passes through the branches of the trees while you feel the wind and the strong breathing of the animal.

Apart from eating an exquisite "asado criollo" you can go fly fishing rainbow trout in the mode catch-and-release in any of the rivers you cross

By the end of the ride you will see Trvelin from a unique panoramic point, and you will understand why the pioneers who crossed this area called it "Enchanted Valley".
