A Winegrowing Bus around Mendoza y and its outskirts

There is no doubt that this is the new star tour in the region. The idea is to get on a bus and go on a neatly organized circuit to visit the best wineries in Mendoza and the closest wine route venues.

Mendoza has plenty of sunshine and wine. For six years it has had its winegrowing bus, a new contribution to the list of items the province takes pride in.


This Wine Bus offers four tours on four weekly departures to visit wineries located in the city or in the nearby towns of Luján de Cuyo, Maipú and Valle de Uco.

The idea gave life to this new transportation means that combines wine and tourism. In addition to being innovative, it operates following the Hop On & Hop Off fashion, with comfortables buses, ideal for this kind of tours and outings named: Luján Sur, El Sol, Valle de Uco & Vino and Olivos de Maipú. Visitors find it hard to choose where to stay.

They all depart from the city of Mendoza, dubbed the Capital International wine, and the experience of these buses allow not only tourists but also the mendocinos to be part of the Wine Paths and the different gastronomic routes that have multiplied in recent years.

With the purchase of a single ticket, passengers can hop on and off at the various stops along the way in their Hald Day Tomorrow, Half Day Tarde or Full Day modalities, with the possibility of making visits and tastings; lunch; participate in wine tourism programs or just buy a good wine to enjoy.

Its frequency is four weekly departures (Friday to Monday). At all times, the tour, which complies with the COVID 19 protocol, is accompanied by a tour guide with extensive knowledge of the wine culture that explains what we see and provides us with information about the different wineries to know.

By Protocol COVID19 Health Security and DISPO-Preventive and Mandatory Social Distance, the bus, on each Wine Road maintains an established itinerary with fixed shifts for: Visit - Tastings or Gastronomy in the wineries.

By agreement, a guide to the winery receives passengers to make each visit and tasting. Upon entering the winery, the passenger pays an entrance fee, which includes the guided tour and the tasting of the products on display there.

During your stay in the chosen winery, you can opt for various wine tourism programs: premium wine tastings; walks through vineyards; carriage rides; harvesting and pruning programmes of vineyards; gastronomic services matched with excellent wines; and finally buying wines and sparkling wines.

Where can I take the service in Mendoza Capital?



The city of Mendoza Capital Internacional del Vino is the main passenger issuing center since it has the largest and most diverse offer of accommodation in the province. The Wine Bus passes through 23 Fixed Stops, in the great Mendoza, from Friday to Monday.

We recommend that passengers wait at The Fixed Stop 5o before the indicated time. The bus is very punctual in the pick up of passengers, to be able to meet the schedule of visits in the wineries. In each winery you choose to visit, you must pay entrance that includes Visit and Tasting, the guide-coordinator informs the rates in Bodegas on board the Bus.

Very important to note that the ILC II Fixed Stop (Tourist Information Center of the Municipality of the City of Mendoza), Address Garibaldi 10, a few meters from km.0 , is the meeting point of tourists where the Bus passes from Friday to Monday, Full Day option 8:45 hs. Half Day Option Tomorrow 08:45 // Half Day Option Late 14:15 hs.

What wineries do you know?



On Fridays on the South Lujan Wine Way, the Bus proposes to visit the wineries: Chandon, Zolo, Susana Balbo Wines and Terrazas de Los Andes.
On Saturdays the El Sol Wine Way, visit the wineries: Casa Vigil, Olivícola Laur, Bressia, A 16, Vistalba and Highlands.
Those who wish to travel the Wine Paths of Valle de Uco, every Sunday can visit: Andeluna, Domaine Bousquet and Salentein.
