It was in 1948 when nonna/i> Fernanda came from the Italian Regione Marche searching for her future and settled down in the Province of Mendoza to find –out of effort and sacrifice- the promised land Europe had failed to be.
Years passed and the endeavor of the elders gave fruit. Today, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are chasing the same dream: luring customers to La Marchigiana for them to enjoy good cuisine.

The first Marchigiana is located in the very center of the Province of Mendoza, a few meters away from San Martín Square, the main square in the city. At this spot, a spacious well-illuminated venue has been welcoming customers for years. Dishes such as lasagna ai quattro formaggi, pasta di ceppia with seafood cream, paglia e fieno a la papalina, capelletti Caruso, gnocchi all’uso nostro and agnellotti in cream are some of the most popular.
A private wine cellar is open for various activities such as wine tasting sessions, workshops, courses, theme lectures, private meetings, birthdays parties, business presentations and other events. |
