One of the few Argentinian estancias which has belonged to the same family for over one century. An impressive Tudor style residence raises in its colonial Creole shell, built by General Urquiza in 1854 and remodelled by his son-in-law in 1872. The furniture, the objects and the historical pieces turn this house into a real museum. In the 180-hectare lawn, designed by Carlos Thays, lies a Gothic chapel where mass is celebrated for guests and neighbors. In San Pedro, visitors can learn the country tasks, fish the Gualeguaychú River or ride ancient carts and especially relax as they behold history.

It was the first site where the yerba mate was first sown in the open. In the shell of the house, decorated with ancient smart furniture, the large dining-room stands out.
